(Name) closed the door with a soft 'click' and locked it as usual. She toed the salt line back in place and slipped off her shoes. It was dark, thank god. She walked silently through the house, freezing when one of the floorboards creaked. Mentally sighing in relief when nothing happened, she set her sights on her bedroom. The door was still open, all she had to do was walk past the living room.
It was easy enough, but of course luck was never on the Winchester's side.
"Where do you think you're going?" Dean asked calmly from his spot in the arm-chair.
(Name) froze, caught, like a deer in the headlights. "Uh...to bed." She informed, motioning to her bedroom door that she almost made it to. It seemed like it was laughing at her. She wanted to punch it.
Dean stood up and walked over to her. He studied her closely before a giving her a stern stare.
"You got high?!" He asked, watching the way his little sister looked away from him. "Did you drink to?" The silence was enough of an answer.
"How did you even get home?"
"Some guy gave me a ri-"
"Some guy, are you insane!? You could have been raped (Name)!" Dean all but shouted. (Name) stared guiltily at the ground.
"What the hell were you thinking?"
"(Name) Deanna Winchester, answer me right now!"
"I don't know." Came the quiet reply Dean had to lean in to hear. "You don't know why you got high, or why you drank? How stupid do you think I am?" Dean snapped.
"Amy said all the cool kids do it."
Dean's lecture was cut off when he heard this. It made sense, but it also made his blood boil.
She was pressured into it.
The ashamed tears on her cheeks made him feel like the worst brother ever. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his chest, letting her cry.
"It's alright. Shhhh, it's gonna be alright kiddo." Dean promised. (Name) nodded and continued to water her brother's shirt.
After a while her sobs finally ceased, soft breathing replaced it. So Dean picked her up and carried her into her room, tucking her in just like when she was 6. He kissed her forehead and turned off the lights before leaving, closing the door behind him.
